S.S. Lazio has reached an agreement with Lazio Family and family Casoni for use of the stylized eagle designed by Gian Chiarion Casoni, Lazio's president from 1981 to 1983. So it will be possible look the ri-proposotion of a shirt that Lazio fans love. The clean and wonderful design of the eagle has conquered a lot of fans of football's shirts. This shirt is between the best italian shirts. It is famous like "maglia bandiera" (tra. flag shirt) or "Maglia dei -9".

The colour of Greece and Zeus's eagle. There is nothing Roman about lazzie. You have been foreigners in Rome since 1927.

The Eagle was very important for the Roman Empire. Study the history of Rome ;) The EAGLE is ROME.

"You have been foreigners in Rome". Ahahahah. Do you know history of your fan-base ? No,because a.s. riomma is the first team of the foreigners in Rome.
Your fan-base is full of sons of napoletani, calabresi, siciliani. Your board is full of yankees. We are more romans that you. ;)

I think you had better look at lazzie history. Everybody knows the founders were into Greek mythology. Hence the colour and the Zeus eagle. I'm Calabresi by the way you stupid prick.

Lazio were 3-2 winners over Sassuolo
in their Sunday afternoon Serie A clash
at the Stadio Olimpico. The home side took the lead through Stefano Mauri in the first half before Filip Djordjevic added a second. Domenico Berardi managed to score a brace but Antonio Candreva ensured the home side took all three points.
The first chance of the game unsurprisingly
came from the home side. A lofted ball in by
Antonio Candreva was met by Lorik Cana at
the far post, but Andrea Consigli parried it
away. Sassuolo staged an early advance on Lazio’s
goal, but Simone Zaza couldn’t stretch far enough to meet the pass.Shortly after, Lazio took the lead. Stefano Mauri was found outside the box and fired a fearsome effort past Consigli for his second of the season. Stefano Pioli’s side piled on the pressure limiting Sassuolo’s options. Referee Dino Tommasi was called upon when Paolo Cannavaro appeared to push Filip Djordjevic in the box, but no penalty was awarded. Replays showed the incident took place outside the area. The Lazio faithful weren’t left to rue the decision for long. Djordjevic rose above
Cannavaro to score his fourth of the season.
However, immediately from the kick-off, Sassuolo pulled one back. The Lazio defence seemed to drop off as the away side ghosted forward and Domenico
Berardi poked the ball past a hapless Federico
Marchetti , with the Italian shot-stopper made
to look quite ridiculous. Doubt and fragility began to creep into Lazio’ same. Zaza looked to have secured an
equaliser, but his curling effort struck the outside of the post. Having put the hosts on the back foot, Lazio restored their two goal lead. Senad Lulic’s cross into the box bamboozled the Sassuolo defense allowing Djordjevic and Candreva to combine for the Italian’s second of the season. In the second half the lingering doubt returned to haunt Lazio. A seemingly routine
challenge by Cani in the box culminated in a Sassuolo penalty, with the Albanian receiving his second booking of the game. Berardi stepped up and tucked away his second of the game from the spot. Soon after, Federico Peluso received his second booking reducing both sides to 10 men. Both sides went in search of more goals. Marco Parolo came very close from range, but Consigli tipped it behind for a corner. With ten minutes to go, Marchetti atoned for his
earlier mistake when he saved Matteo Brighi’s
header from point blank range. Substitutes Miroslav Klose and Felipe Anderson could have settled the result, but Consigli did brilliantly to prevent his side
conceding again. Despite the persistent pressure, Lazio were able to hold their lead until the final whistle. Sassuolo still haven’t won yet this season but have at least ended their goalscoring rut. Lazio leap ahead of Inter in the Serie A table in seventh, with the Nerazzurri still yet to play their Sunday game.

Di Canio is fascist. Any problem ? Your mentality "Lazio = Fascism" is very old.

Are you calabrese ? Now I can see your typical arrogance.

Project of "Stadio delle Aquile":

Image

Capacity 53,000. In the stadium: a mall,a cinema, restaurants, museum and an hotel 4 stars. Now the society will search a location. Maybe Tiberina or Prima Porta.

It's an ugly shirt. It is always better to stay with the traditional symbols. Too modern and cheap looking.

No way lazzie gets a new stadium. The club has no money and there is no way Italian taxpayers will agree to fund such a project. They will have the Olimpico all to themselves a a few years.

Each to his own taste. Many fans of football shirts think that this shirt is fabulous.

On the stadium: italian football is in economical crisis, the project isn't easy. Olympic Stadium is a good zone and an excellent stadium for Lazio.

for a.s. riomma a stadium of 1 Billion of € (utopia) and the society not will be the owner of the stadium but of the investitors. Very crazy project.
