Relegated from Lega Pro 2 to Serie D: Sacilese, Mezzocorona, Villacidrese and Pomezia. (Only four clubs relegated as Lega Pro 2 was five under complement for the season.)

Both the Lega Pro 1 play-off finals first leg are on Rai Sport 1 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. BST. Presumably the first to be shown will be live and the second recorded.

There's been a change in the advance schedules for RAISport. Only the Atletico Roma v. Juve Stabia game will be shown tomorrow - at 5 p.m. BST on RAISport 1, repeated at 7.30 p.m. on RAISport 2. Presumably the Verona - Salernitana clash will be shown next Sunday.
The Serie D Poule Scudetto final between Cuneo and Perugia is on RAISport 2 this afternoon at 4.30. (The Poule Scudetto for those unfamiliar with Serie D is a sort of champion of champions end of season competition between the winners of the nine divisions. The first round is played in three sections of three leading to semifinals with the three section winners and the best placed other side.)

I see Hellas beat Salernitana 2-0 today to put one foot into Serie B. Hope they get there in the 2nd leg.

I like Verona too, it would be good to see them back up in Serie B at least. Their fans have always been a colorful bunch (in one way or another) – much more so than their local rivals Chievo.

Juve Stabia and Atletico Roma drew 0-0 in the other final. Return legs are next Sunday. Can anyone clear up a mystery? I only have a smattering of Italian, just about enough to follow the commentaries, but as far as I could make out there is some sort of problem with the Stadio Flaminia, Atletico's ground, for next Sunday's match. The stadium was upgraded recently and holds over 20,000, but I got the impression that next week's crowd will be restricted to 4,000. If anyone can clarify the situation, please post here.
The Lega Pro 2 season is over and FeralpiSalo, Carrarese and Trapani are promted to Lega Pro 1.

Thats the Stadio Flaminio, right, where Atletico Roma play? It also the home pitch for Italia's rugby team and the Wiki page says it holds 32,000 – although I suspect not be all areas of it may be 'open' for calcio (as in certain standing areas). No idea why it would be restricted to 4,000, that seems overly harsh if thats the case. Was there crowd trouble in the first-leg?

Totti came out and asked all Roma fans to cheer for Atletico Roma in their play-off as he said it would be good to have a second team from Rome do well.

I think the 32,000 capacity mentioned in Wiki referred to the ground before renovation. I've seen a couple of games from there on TV and I would guess the stand opposite the camera point holds 4,000 on its own. We'll get a chance to see it on Sunday anyway as Rai Sport are showing both playoff final second legs. Atletico Roma v. Juve Stabia is on Rai Sport 2 at 3 p.m. BST and Salernitana v. Verona on Rai Sport 1 at 5 p.m.

Juve Stabia won 2-0 today, glad they went up as opposed to Atletico Roma.

Hellas did get the job done, though in somewhat nervy fashion. A 1-0 defeat at Salerno gave Verona a 2-1 aggregate win and promotion. Anyone know what the crowd was? It looked to be over 20,000. The stands were nearly all full.

There was 25,073 at the Arechi according to the Rai website. I think there was trouble after the game, it looked like it was going to happen when riot police had to shield the Hellas players from the Salernitana fans (i seen it on youtube).

I'm not sure how this works. Basically only the nine divisional winners from Serie D get promoted unless any Lega Pro teams go bankrupt. Then the vacancies are filled by the Serie D cup winners and runners-up and divisional runners-up. The only thing I can think of is that Rimini will replace Pomezia who were forcibly relegated for some misdemeanour or other.

I'm delighted with Rimini's promotion. My only Italian holiday was spent there and I loved the town and its people. They're my second favourite Italain team behind La Viola. I hope they get back to Serie B again so we can see them regularly.

Anyone heard what is happening to Piacenza? Will they still exist come August?

Needed - someone who can read Italian better than I can. There's statement from Piacenza's president Garilli on the Piacenza website (a Google search will find it), but it's too difficult for me to translate. From what little I could make out he's walking away from football, but whether he's putting the club up for sale or not I can't make out.
