Galatasaray have signed striker Johan Elmander from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer.

He can be deployed as a winger or just behind the striker. Finished top scorer in Belgium last season with 22 goals.

They have already signed a replacement for Sahin. Signed Ilkay Gundogan from Nuremberg who was brilliant last season along with Mehmet Ekici (who has gone on to sign for Werder Bremen).

However, it has come out in the last half hour that Zokora has not yet put pen to paper on a deal with Trabzon and is still considering offers. Trabzonspor actually announced the transfer on the website but Zokora has said that nothing has been finalised.
